Privacy Policy
PIXEL PULL STUDIO — Effective Date: July 9, 2026
Pixel Pull Studio ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you visit our website (pixelpullstudio.com), make a purchase, or interact with our services.
If you do not agree with our privacy practices, please do not use this Site.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Purchase Information: Email address, name, payment method, billing address (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details)
- Gallery Registration: Full legal name, email, government ID number (for one-of-one artwork purchases requiring ID verification)
- Contact Inquiries: Name, email, message content if you contact us via email
- Artist Applications: Full legal name, portfolio, contact information, banking details (for our manually-reviewed artist application process)
- Member Accounts (Marketplace): If you self-register as a Marketplace buyer or artist, we collect your name, email, and a password (stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash — we cannot see or recover your actual password). You are assigned a unique Member ID. If you register as an Artist and request a payout, we collect your bank account's last 4 digits and routing number.
Information Collected Automatically
- IP Address: Logged for fraud prevention, security, and analytics
- Browser & Device Info: Browser type, operating system, device type
- Usage Data: Pages viewed, time spent, links clicked, search queries, referral source
- Cookies & Tracking: We use session cookies to maintain your shopping cart and login state. We do not use persistent tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for:
- Processing Transactions: Fulfilling orders, issuing refunds, sending receipts
- Customer Communication: Responding to inquiries, sending order confirmations and download links, notifying you of policy changes
- Fraud Prevention & Security: Detecting unauthorized access, verifying ID for high-value purchases, monitoring suspicious activity
- Gallery & Registry: Maintaining the public Gallery, Registry lookup, and ownership verification for one-of-one artwork
- Analytics & Improvement: Understanding user behavior, improving website functionality and user experience
- Account Security: Verifying your email address before allowing account login, enabling password resets, and maintaining your login session
- Artist Payouts: Sending earnings to Marketplace artists. When you request a payout, we require you to confirm the request via a unique link sent to your verified email; the IP address and timestamp of that confirmation are recorded specifically as evidence that you personally authorized the payout — this is separate from, and retained longer than, our general fraud-prevention IP logging (see Section 5).
- Legal Compliance: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
3. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
However, we may share information in these limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Stripe (payment processing), hosting providers, email services. These vendors are contractually bound to confidentiality.
- Artists & Gallery: When you purchase one-of-one artwork, your email address is shared with the Artist for follow-up communication and customer service. Your Gallery/Registry entries are permanently public and visible to all users.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government authority, we may disclose information without notice (except where prohibited by law).
- Business Transfer: If Pixel Pull Studio is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Public Information
The following information is permanently public:
- Gallery artwork listings and descriptions
- Registry entries showing Lock IDs, owner names, prices, and transfer history
- Artist profiles and portfolio information
- Publicly submitted content (reviews, testimonials, forum posts — if applicable)
If you purchase one-of-one artwork, your name and purchase history will be publicly visible in the Registry. Do not provide information you wish to keep private.
5. Data Retention
- Purchase Records: Retained for 7 years for accounting, tax, and dispute resolution purposes
- General IP Logs & Cookies: Retained for 6 months for fraud prevention and security analysis
- Payout Confirmation Records: The IP address and timestamp logged when you confirm a payout request (see Section 2) are financial-transaction records, not general fraud logs — these are retained for 7 years alongside other purchase/payout records, not the 6-month window above.
- Gallery & Registry Data: Retained indefinitely (part of the public record for artwork ownership)
- Contact Inquiries: Retained for 1 year, then deleted
You may request deletion of your personal data subject to legal retention requirements. Email hello@pixelpullstudio.com for data deletion requests.
6. Your Rights & Choices

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information by emailing hello@pixelpullstudio.com.

Do Not Track
We do not currently honor "Do Not Track" browser signals, as we do not engage in third-party tracking.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Secure payment processing through Stripe (PCI DSS compliant)
- Passwords are never stored in plain text — only a one-way bcrypt hash is kept, which cannot be reversed to recover your password
- Payout requests require two-factor confirmation (Member ID plus an emailed link requiring an explicit confirmation click) before being authorized
- IP logging and fraud detection systems
- Limited access to personal data (staff need-to-know basis only)
However, no security system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access. Use of this Site is at your own risk.

If we become aware that a child has provided information, we will delete it immediately. Parents who believe their child's information has been collected should contact hello@pixelpullstudio.com.
